Tour in 10 Steps
How are our Tours? Here’s how the day unfolds.
1. HOME
The tour begins at the place chosen by the customer. This is usually at the front desk where they are staying, or at the entrance of a monument. The tour lasts approximately 4 hours. You can also do a full day tour of 8 hours, for example from 10:00 to 18:00.
2. WHAT WE LIKE?
Before starting the tour, the tour guides we like to know the type of client with whom we work to better target our visit. We like to know where they come from customers, engaged, what their preferences, if you like more history, art, know our traditions, our gastronomy and our culture. Therefore, I appreciate all that we ask them to cause curiosity. We like our customers to explain to us what they would like to know during your visit to Barcelona and we ask about what interests you.
3. WE ORGANIZE
We take care of organizing the tour, depending on what you want each client and go to regulate the time. We carry more than 16 years as official guides in Barcelona, and we do tours every day. So we know the most interesting places and we adjust the time depending on what the customer wants. You just have to let go and enjoy the visit.
4. Any advice?
We can advise the client on the most interesting monuments, the most important museums and visited, but it is always the client’s decision whether to enter or if you prefer an outside visit and spend more time elsewhere. This can be decided during the tour, because when we do a private tour, our guide card official Barcelona allows us to enter any monument or museum without reservation and skipping the queue without waiting
, and most sometimes with a reduced entry (especially for groups with official guide) – $ $
.
5. TRANSPORT
Transport is based on what you want to visit. If you want to tour outside of Barcelona (for example, a half day excursion to Montserrat), you need a car. If 2 people can book a car with driver (check prices), or a taxi. And if they are 4 or more can reserve a minivan, or minibus. (Depending on the number of people you can recommend a means of transport or another, and inform you of different market prices).
6. AND WHY NOT WALK?
If you want to visit Barcelona, you can walk. Barcelona is a city that invites you to walk. Its Gothic Quarter (which is the medieval city), the Ramblas (the most popular avenue), its port, its beaches, are wonderful places to walk.
7. TAXI? GOOD SOLUTION
And to make your time and visit places that are farther away, you can also combine the walking tour, with taxis. In Barcelona taxis are very cheap and there are many, it is very easy to get around by taxi. In addition we carry a microphone-amplifier (that we use with groups of 40 or 50 people) and that for private tours going well, because we put him inside the cab and we can go explaining all that we saw on our way.
8. END OF TOUR
The tour ends where the customer prefers. You can return to the hotel, or end in the middle. Perhaps prefer to end in a typical restaurant, or a monument or a stroll down the Ramblas, to continue hearing our city.
9. EXTRA INFORMATION
Before our departure, we make sure that the client has all the information needed to move with total confidence and trust in the city. We will explain how to get back to the hotel, how to use the means of transport, which are ideal places to visit on their own. We will inform about schedules, prices, reservations (if necessary), restaurants, shopping … In short, everything necessary to enable them to maximize their vacation in Barcelona.
10. AND HAVE FUN!
Our desire is that when you return home and think about Barcelona, feel in your heart a great affection for our city, and they always sit together at Barcelona by this feeling of friendship.
